Avon announces new collaborations
Avon, a brand better known for their skincare than their color, is looking forward to two collaborations in the coming year. They’re teaming up with fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, and Mark (another Avon brand) is teaming up with Lauren Conrad of Laguna Beach/The Hills/MTV fame.

Cynthia Rowley’s collaboration with Avon will launch a limited edition color collection available for two months, beginning September 2007. The collection will focus on shades of silver, champagne, and purple jewel tones. Products included in the collection include a finishing powder, all over face powder, nail polish, lipstick, lip gloss, and a brush set complete with clutch, just to name a few. Price points will range from $4 to $15.
Details about Lauren Conrad’s partnership with Mark have yet to surface, though it is clear there will be co-branded items in both the beauty and fashion avenues. “As an aspiring fashion designer and talented young woman, Lauren is a perfect fit for our mark brand. We have a shared love of makeup, fashion and personal expression of style, so we are excited about our future together” said Claudia Poccia, the Global President of Mark.
